As of Fall 2011, all incoming students have the option to request a roommate who is interested in LGBTQ issues via their housing application. Housing will try their best to pair students who select this option together. You do not need to be LGBTQ identified to select this option. In fact, we suggest that allies who are committed to creating a safe living environment utilize this option as well.
