LGBTQIA+ Welcome

For the first two weeks of classes, SJE welcomes the entire community to participate in our series of welcome events, including our annual LGBTQIA Reception, Big Queer Game Knight, LGBTQA International Student Brunch, and of course the Cultural Center Collaborative Global Culture Fest!

Calling all LGBTQIA+ students! Join us for our welcome party and open house to learn more about our queer and trans community at Rutgers. Enjoy free food, games, and make new friends!   
Also join us for a PARTY BUS experience on board the Rutgers PRIDE campus bus!! The party bus will loop around College Avenue Campus. The bus will have stops at SJE (17 Bartlett St), the Yard, the Student Activities Center, and the College Avenue Student Center.

Join us for a night of laughs and community! RIVER BUTCHER (he/they) is a Los Angeles-based standup comic, actor and writer. His special, “A Different Kind of Dude,” recently premiered on Comedy Central’s Youtube channel. River has written for “A League of their Own” and created the critically acclaimed and GLAAD award-nominated show, “Take My Wife.”
