Celebrate the start of a new school year with The Center for Social Justice Education and LGBT Communities! The LGBTQIA+ Welcome series brings together our queer and trans students, faculty, staff and allies to kick off the fall semester. These virtual events will help new students make friends, connect with campus partners, and have fun!

CULTUREFEST

NEW DATE: Friday, September 9, 2022 from 3:00PM-7:00PM
College Avenue Campus – Voorhees Mall
(next to Scott Hall, Zimmerli Museum, Murray Hall, and Graduate School of Education)

There will be free food from cultural food trucks, free Rutgers and cultural swag, cultural performances, a DJ, live entertainment, a step and stroll show, games, and a multicultural Involvement Fair…and sooooooo much more!

Join us for a night of laughs and community! RIVER BUTCHER (he/they) is a Los Angeles-based standup comic, actor and writer. His special, “A Different Kind of Dude,” recently premiered on Comedy Central’s Youtube channel. River has written for “A League of their Own” and created the critically acclaimed and GLAAD award-nominated show, “Take My Wife.”
